Time of Giving Thanks

pilgrims Mavis and Charles-Clyde have had a very good year. As a matter of fact, they live very happy, healthy lives. Not everyone is always so lucky. There are good times and there are bad times. Over all, they have a lot to be thankful for.

Charles-Clyde reminds us that not everyone lives in a place where they can follow their dreams as easily as we do in America. Most of us have plenty of food, a comfortable home and good friends. Not everyone is this fortunate.
It can be easy to take all the good things we have for granted.

Thanksgiving is just a reminder of what we should do each and every day:
We should think about how fortunate we are and be thankful.
Life changes from day to day.

The next time you think you are having a bad day, stop to look around you. You are bound to see someone less fortunate than yourself.

Stop. Take a deep breath.
Then recall the White Boxer slogan:
"Be thoughtful of others, and remember: be good to yourself!"
Everyone is different and everyone has a purpose in the lives we are living together right now.

Be thankful for what you have and who you are...
...and not just on Thanksgiving!
