Found!

Thank you!
Greetings, I'm a volunteer at the San Luis Obispo County Animal Shelter (aka "the pound"). We are not a no-kill shelter, though we work very hard to reduce the euthanasia of adoptable dogs simply because the shelter runs out of space.

Currently we have a neutered white boxer named Myron. Myron is a gentle and affectionate soul. I've seen him in our meet-and-greet yards with families with toddlers and he did well. He also seems fine with other dogs. Generally he's just a mellow dude.

If you could post Myron we'd appreciate it, though the shelter does charge an adoption fee of $95. This fee includes all his shots and microchipped.

Thank you for your consideration of Myron.

Wanted
Last year at Christmas my husband and I saw an eight month old white deaf boxer that was at local pound up for adoption. The facility was a donation funded location, only able to supply the dogs with a half a cup of food a day and also euthanized by time and space. We offered to foster her.

We fostered her for two months. During the time we had her in our home no one had come to look at Miley. We have two other dogs a male and female boxer who are going to be five this year. The dogs all got along very well and we made the decision to adopt Miley. We have all lived in harmony for a year until recently.

As of late the two females have started to become very aggressive towards each other and recently got in a very bad fight. We have had to keep the dogs separated and any attempt to reunite them has been unsuccessful. Miley would do well in a home with one male dog who could help lead her and be a friend to her through life. She is spayed and lives well with our male.
